Stability when it matters most.

Support that helps people navigate hardship, meet immediate needs, and regain the stabilitiy to keep moving forward.

When life becomes uncertain, stability matters.

The people behind the space mission carry extraordinary responsibilities, but life beyond the mission does not stop. Unexpected expenses arise, families face hardship, and circumstances can change without warning.

The Galactic Emporium’s Support & Relief programs exist to help keep those moments from becoming larger disruptions.

Through direct relief and practical assistance, we help strengthen the safety net around the people and families who make the mission possible.

Because when people have solid ground beneath them, they are better positioned to move forward.

During the government shutdown, Galactic Emporium proved to be an invaluable lifeline for both active-duty personnel and federal civilian employees who were furloughed or working without pay. Their support went far beyond simple goodwill-providing groceries, grocery gift cards, and fresh produce to families who suddenly found themselves struggling. In some cases, they even supplied gas cards to help federal civilians commute to work despite not receiving a paycheck. Galactic Emporium’s compassion, responsiveness, and genuine care for the community made a significant difference during a difficult and uncertain time. Their efforts didn’t just meet needs-they restored hope.

Two Programs • One Purpose

Support & Relief is carried out through two complementary programs: the MCRF and the VALOR Initiative. Each addresses a different dimension of stability:

Mission Continuity Relief Fund (MCRF)

Relief when an unexpected hardship threatens stability.

The Mission Continuity Relief Fund (MCRF) provides targeted assistance during moments of unforseen financial or personal hardship.

The MCRF is designed to help bridge the gap when circumstances change suddenly; providing beathing room, reducing immediate pressure, and helping prevent a temporary disruption from becoming something larger.

VALOR Initiative

Vital Assistance and Logistics for Operational Resilience

Resilience is often built through practical support.

The VALOR Initiative mobilizes essential resources and logistical assistance to help individuals and families meet real-world needs and remain resilient through periods of strain.

From essential goods to coordinated community support, VALOR connects resources with people where they can make a meaningful difference.

Explore VALOR

During the government shutdown, my team and I continued working without pay, and the support we received made an incredible difference. Along with gas and grocery gift cards for myself and 12 staff members, we were also provided with weekly food donations that helped sustain us during a very challenging time. We were truly grateful for the generosity as we continued serving our military community with dedication. Your kindness and support were deeply appreciated and will always be remembered.

I am a full time federal employee and a member of the Air National Guard. During the 43 day government shutdown, I, unfortunately, was not considered an exempt employee and was not getting paid. Thankfully, I was able to utilize my military resources and attend one of your food drives held for furloughed employees. It was great to have some support. Thank you!
